How to Make Homemade Brown Sugar Bubble / Boba Milk Drink
Tiger Sugar is one of the many cafes that make this style of brown sugar bubble milk drink. You may have seen this popular drink on your Instagram explore page or from a favorite cafe in your local town. However, today we’ll teach you how to recreate this popular drink in the comfort of your own home. It’s enjoyable and easy to make, and it’s great to share with family.
What you will need:
- tapioca pearls
- muscovado sugar
- milk
- reusable boba straws
Instructions:
Brown Sugar Tapioca Pearls
Pour the water in a small pot and heat until it comes to a boil. Add the tapioca pearls into boiling water. Stir occasionally so that they don’t stick together. Let the tapioca pearls cook for five to seven minutes until you see them float to the top. Lower the heat and let them sit for five more minutes. You will see them fall to the bottom of the pot. If you are using a different brand, follow the directions on the packaging. Turn off heat. Drain the water out, but keep the tapioca pearls in the pot. Turn the heat on to low and add the muscovado sugar. Let the sugar melt and stir to combine. Once the sugar appears thick, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
Brown Sugar Bubble/Boba Milk
Optional: Coat the inside of the glass with Brown Sugar Syrup. Fill the glass with the brown sugar tapioca pearls and add ice. Then carefully pour milk over the ice. To finish topped the drink with cheese foam – optional.
