Questions you may have:
How to prevent the ice from clumping to the top?
Adding cane sugar syrup helps prevent the crushed ice from clumping and floating to the top after blending. I also heard that adding a little bit of Xanthum gum to your smoothie helps.

What cafe drink was the recipe inspired by?
This recipe is inspired by a cafe drink, often called cloud tea. The drink’s cloud aspect comes from the crushed ice that you can see layering with the blended fruit, as shown in the picture above.
When I encountered this type of drink for the first time. I thought it was deliciously unique because I was used to only drink milk tea topped with cheese foam and the idea that I can drink a fruit tea drink with a cheese foam was quite revolutionary.
The experience is quite refreshing. If you were not in the mood to consume a full dairy drink, this is an excellent alternative. You can make this recipe with different kinds of fruits. Mix and match, and I highly suggest using fresh fruits.
How many ounces per serving?
The serving size is about 16oz. If you order from a cafe, it would be a medium-sized drink.
